It is known only what the anime and the manga, in their own kindness, show. The part of the story that contains Eren's point of view is not (yet, at least) presented. What did he tell his friends in the Paths, besides Armin? What where actually his motives? Wasn't there any other way to end it all?
I wrote this work in order to present my own ideas regarding the story, from Eren's perspective, perhaps to answer some own questions that do not give me peace. Please be gentle with me :) I'm all new in this "writing" kinda thing.

Eren was the eldest boy at the orphanage, mostly sticking to himself his whole life and just spending his time doing school work, looking after small children, and getting bullied. He couldn't remember the last time he felt much happiness, and he dealt with the pain with almost daily cutting. As life went on he felt closer and closer to just ending it.. but then he meets Levi. Levi, the star pupil, academically, comes to his aid and starts to protect him. He's a bit forward, but Eren likes him, and Levi likes him back. Things lead to one another and slowly Eren is realising more about his past and Levi won't stop asking questions. Will Eren tell him what he knows or will he end it before Levi can find out?
