Strange magic is stirring beneath the eaves of Yggdrasil.

Fenrir felt it just before he changed. Jormungand sensed it when he was dragged from an untimely slumber. And Tyr-last of the Æsir-was forced to accept it when Asgard fell and left him to bear the judgment alone.

With Midgard rising and fate spiraling wildly off course, three beings once destined to end the world are bound together by a future none of them chose. Old grudges run deep, betrayal runs deeper, and forgiveness may cost more than any of them are willing to give.

Because saving the world is one thing.

Redeeming it-and themselves-may be impossible.

"May the stories spin, may the thread grow longer, and may the future doubt the past with the same vigor she feared the future" The world had always treated Disa like she was beauty breathed into flesh and blood. Previously immortality allowed her to maintain that status, but now time is threatening her existence. For a year she has been on earth waiting for her husband to change his mind or her mother to want her back. But as time drags on, she decides to spite them in the only way that will; by fulfilling the prophesy and cast them off into oblivion with it. She had always been destined for power so when the southern conquer king closes in, she knows what she has to do. But with the southern tides comes not only her husband to be but also their gods. One with wicked storm gray eyes and a glinting silver scar on his jaw who tricked her immortality from her and who is now willing to strike another deal. A century later every belly rumbles as they float past on the street and Lenjas father has a family to care for. Ten children, ten hollow pairs of eyes, and eight more weeks until spring. Up on the mountain, the immortal queen reigns behind her silver mask, more myth than person. Young Lenjas' life is traded for a drawstring purse of gold and she gets thrust into the odd world of court. With gaping holes in the history books questions rise and when Lenja is not turned into a servant as was the deal but educated like a lady, anxiety rises. She must find out why the queen paid to have her there and why her friends at court are sneaking out in the night to cry behind gilded doors.

Fifty years ago, demons invaded the mortal realm of Dargon, leaving a trail of destruction across the five kingdoms. The six Guardians of that generation united the kingdoms and fought back against the demons, scattering their ashes to the winds. Then, they vanished into legend, and with them, their powers. When the lost powers awaken in six strangers across the mortal realm once again, they seek answers... What danger has compelled the powers to reappear after half a century of peace? There are rumours that another demon army gathers in the fiery realm of the Abyss, greater than the first and led by a cunning mastermind whose motivations are unknown. But something doesn't add up. The deeper they dig, the more twisted the truth becomes and the more uncertain their path forward. Who... or what must they truly save their world from? As destinies unravel and loyalties are tested, one question lingers: What if saving the world... means trusting the very force that could end it? An epic trilogy of gods, mortals, and fates intertwined-where it seems that things may have been set in motion long before anyone could ever have anticipated and the path forward may just be the one that ends in death. Erik Svärdling is no ordinary teenager, but he is still shocked to find himself thrust into a world of strange creatures and old magic. He is confronted with the living truth of his country's history as he finds out that the Norse myths are real. He must learn the ways of magic to stay alive in this new and unforgiving world he's discovered, but he must do it away from everyone he's ever loved. Will he be able to cope with his new existence and stay ahead of his enemies? This is the first novel I've ever written from beginning to end. It's only a first draft, but I'm planning on going back and fixing it up as soon as I have the time and energy.
