cassie's world was turned upside down long before the dead started to rise but never would she have imagined her life to be like this. to be fighting to survive. to live the way she does, on the run from the dead.
nor could she have imagined to have the family she does. or love the way she does. it's a whole new world that is throwing challenge after challenge at her.
she's a young girl who is learning all of life's lessons whilst trying to survive. she is falling in love, dealing with loss and finding out who she is.
but the one thing she does know is that she belongs here; with the people in her group; her family.

The world was ending, many would argue that it was dying. But that wasn't true, not really. The world was simply being reborn, in a rather unconventional way. Chloe Bradbury finds herself caught in the middle of this 'rebirth.' When the dead start walking, she and her family have to do whatever they can to survive. When they stumble upon another group, things start to look up for them. But then, nothing is ever as good as it seems. Especially in a world where you fight the dead and fear the living. ➵ This story is based during about the middle of season 3.
