it's strange, truly, the feeling of dedicating one's passions, loves, what-ifs, to a single moment defined by memories and the passage of time. it's hauntingly familiar, you will dreadfully realize, and sooner than later you'll find yourself again caught up in that moment: same girl, same touch, same voice. you knew this all along, that you will come back to her, crawling your way home no matter where you are or who you become. and she will be waiting, because she knew, too. you both knew everything when you were young-this was just one of them.

Then she finds herself alone at a party with Ren, her best friend's crush. She'd always thought he was rude, but after that night he's all Ella can think about. Now she's trapped. If Ella dates Ren, it will ruin her friendship with Jenny. But if she stays true to Jenny, she's losing the one person who can see past her scars. It's up to Ella to decide if she will forge her own path, or stay in the "perfect" box designed for her...
