Firstly, he got woken up at ass-o-clock by the cleaning harpies.
Secondly, he got a little scratch whilst sparring with Kayla, and she commanded him to the infirmary straight away.
Thirdly, Will Solace.
Fourthly, Will Solace stitching him up.
He can't quite get past it.
Will's hands on his leg, calmly talking him through the process. Will's blond hair brushing against his thighs and arms as he has close up looks.
Will's concentrating face; dear gods. He could write a whole fucking sonnet about the way Will's dimples cut into his cheeks when he sucks his bottom lip into his mouth.

Nico di Angelo is finally happy. He's learning to accept himself for his sexuality and as a son of Hades. After everything horrible that has happened to him, he's slowly getting better with the help of Will and his friends. Will Solace finally got the boy of his dreams. The boy he had a crush on since he was 11 years old. He's starting to realize that he isn't as useless as he thinks he is, and that he's actually worth something. Everything is going great for a while. But just like it always is for demigods, nothing good ever lasts. The death of Nico's first and closest friend Jason Grace puts a sudden end to the sunshine that currently brightens Nico's life for once. His death triggers a lot of things for him, and shines light on a lot of his unresolved trauma. Will Nico be able to make it through this without his mental stability completely breaking once and for all? Will Nico be able to let people in enough to help him get through it? And what about the mysterious dreams that Nico keeps having of his mom? And who really is this little girl that knows nothing about her past? In this sequel to Out of the Shadows, Nico sees familiar faces and revisits past places, but at least this time he has Will along for the ride. He would often forget to take care of himself such as go outside to eat. Nobody would ever like him. Or so he thought... Will Solace- The child of Apollo. Basically a dream. He lifted everyone's spirit as soon as he walked through the door. He literally glowed when he was happy, which was most of the time. He was the best healer out of the whole camp. Come on, who wouldn't have the hots for a smart, hot, teen doctor? So out of all the people he could've found interesting, why Nico? That's what the child of Hades is trying to figure out while he's oblivious to the complete obvious. Nico watched in horror how Percy promised Annabeth to always stay together, to never be apart again. Then, Percy let go and he and Annabeth fell down. All around, he could hear the others shouting and running to help. All too late, Percy and Annabeth were gone. Suddenly, Nico heard another sound. A strange crackling was increasingly more and more prominent, until it drowned the voices of the remaining five. Before he realized what was happening, the ground beneath his torso was crumbling away, larger and larger pieces were disappearing in the hungry darkness below. Nico did not have time to react. The next thing he knew, he was falling too. OR Three demigods fall into Tartarus after finding the statue of Athena Parthenos. For better or worse, it is not the first time for Nico. Will has never introduced Nico to his family due to his family being incredibly biased towards monsters, in particular Vampires. But now they've been dating for over a year and half, and due to unfortunate circumstances, Nico even lives with the Solaces. Will can't keep these parts of his life separate so he decides that they'll be able to hide Nicos vampireism from his family so that way they can all meet. or: Nico is a vampire and Wills family hates monsters. He brings Nico to meet his family anyways so they have to hide the fact that Nico is a vampire from them. Shit hits the rocks as expected.
