Adeola "Addie" Wilsons knows the obscene scenerios she imagines and her interests earn her looks, some pitiful and some wary. She knows she should be more excited about life. The thing is, she's bored with the repititive nature of each day. Summer vacation starts and her boredom increases. Nothing seems to satisfy her need for excitement.

That is, until Nicholas Carlson moves into her hallway.

They develop a mutual understanding of each other's mindsets. Their connection develops into a deep friendship. They go through the summer and experience the nature of teenage hood.
Letting go of relationships, partying and realising future prospects. Finding a new definition of what is normal, they decide that they fit into it.
