The Ice Kingdom was ruled by Demon Slayers, the Celestail Kingdom was ruled by spirits or Celestail Mages and the Fire Kingdom the ruled by dragons. Not long ago the Princess of the Celestail Kingdom was murdered while in the Fire and Ice Kingdoms. Not long later they found out she had a lover that was also killed that same night. The three Kingdoms were at the brink of war blaming each other for the murder of Princess Layla Heartfilla.
