With King Edward IV dead, and the Kingdom left in disarray, as the fatal curse of the Carthusians plagues the royal house of England.

Imprisoned in the Fortress of Carnarvon, Margaret Howard has fallen into disgrace. Her infidelity has left her estranged husband, Edward V of England, with neither heir nor wife.
