After a whole town was massacred the demon slayer corps are increasingly worried about how powerful the demon is that massacred those innocent people and curious to know who had done it and what their rank is.  There are no survivors left to tell them who had done it apart from a child and a clue said demon had left. The child won't speak though. The only other things the demon slayers are left with are questions like: 

Why did they let the child live? 

Will the child tell them? Why won't the child tell them? 

Who was it? 

Why? 

How powerful are they? 

Are they a demon? 

What do they do?
