"Where have you been..." Her voice rung pure shock through his ears after not hearing it for so long.
Louder she speaks "Where have you been?!?" voice almost breaking.
Biting his lip, he looks into her eyes, her daring to spill onto her cheeks.
She cautiously walks towards him, but he doesn't dare move an inch. Stopping right in front of him, her voice goes quiet, but is somehow still loud enough to cause his world to shake.
"I'm here now."
With a low chuckle, she closes her eyes, breathing deeply through her nose before she speaks once more.
"And where were you 4 years ago,? Two years ago?"
She looks up at him, broken and torn.
"Where were you when I was new? When my earth shattered and caused my ears to bleed? When I was desperate to be able to breathe once more?"
The threatening tears finally ran free.
"How dare," Voice broke with every word spoken.
"How dare you come to me now." Her arms wrapping around her frame in a protective matter, she broke eye contact with the man in front of her, looking down at her feet.

Falling to her knees, she curled in on herself.
