The Datu, Founding Fathers of “New Philippines”, proposed a solution. Any burden on the country shall be alleviated at all costs, and that's where the Purge came into existence. The Purge is an annual event that allows any crime for 12 hours in the country. Services such as Hospitals, Firemen, Police and the Government will be unavailable during the said hours. Logic behind the event? It allows people to release a year's burden, hatred, by unleashing the beast on other people. Anyone who can't afford protection isn't guaranteed to survive the night. With this, The New Philippines grew. The crime rates are at from Minimal to Almost None. The economy grew and the New Philippines flustered with the hopes of never experiencing The Fall again.
