In the despair-laden depths of the Underground City, two souls violently intertwine. Both are desperate for freedom and to keep those they love safe, and both are willing to kill the other in order to get what they want.

However, living with the ever-present threat of the man-devouring Titans just beyond the walls, will they realise that fate brought them together for a reason, or will they end up damning each other to death?

This is the prequel to my fanfic 'The Path Back to You', based off Hajime Isayama's "Attack on Titan"/"Shingeki no Kyojin". I therefore do not own many of the characters, locations, and some of the storylines. I have kept some dialogue and scenarios the same as they are in the original in order to make the story work better and to keep characters consistent. I own the main character (Anastasya Morozova) and other original characters, scenes, locations, dialogue etc. and these are under copyright protection. Please do not use them.

Please be wary of spoilers from any of the AOT OVAs and Season 1.

I apologise that the first few chapters spelling are terrifying as I didn't check them but the other chapter later on in the story are double checked and corrected. Levi met you when you were a child almost around your age but maybe a little older. You had no home so he invited you to live with him and his mother Kuchel. Every time your's and Levi's hair would grow out Kuchel would cut their hair. She would cut Levi's into an undercut and would cut yours half way through your back and sometimes make it wavy like Kuchel's hair. One day you two are suddenly separated, will you find each over again? Even if you do will you two remember each over? Will you remember each over's appearance? Will you like each over? What will happen? I make promises with my soul and only once i have broken one - when it was clear that the one i promised to carry would stab me in the back and leave me to die for sake of ghostly fears - it was that or not win in peace, the victory heaven seeks. "We will never let each over go you promise?" "Promise kept." WARNING: Language will be used and some tw but nothing too detailed. First few chapters have spelling mistakes but now I check them, my auto correct acts up like crazy :)
