Ever since Asphel formed the bondinium with Coccinian, a powerful bond that allows him to share his thoughts and feelings with the winged creature, Asphel has always had a recurring dream. He meets a girl with blue markings and something in his mind, a peculiar energy, tells him this girl is important. Who is she though, and what is it that makes him always want to reach out to her? When Asphel and Coccinian fly to the rescue of a falling star ship, Asphel is amazed that the girl with the blue markings is actually real. However, just when Asphel thinks his questions will soon be answered, he is met with dismay. The girl with blue markings has no memory. Her necklace provides the only clue, a pendant with the name "Estella" inscribed on it. Asphel is then tasked with helping Estella recover, thanks to the help of his mischievous Mama Grand. The more time they spend together, however, the more time Estella remembers her forgotten her identity. The more time they learn both have a role to play in a destiny spanning across the galaxies.

Jamie blinked, trying his best to see. Before he knew what was happening, she was touching his nose. He winced, expecting pain, but the throbbing began to subside until it disappeared almost entirely. Pressing something hard into his hand, Jamie realized she had found his glasses. The frames were bent and the glass had cracked. Jamie groaned. "I really should get some contacts." The girl laughed, and Jamie felt himself smile a little.
