August 3, 2012 the small town of Thames, Alabama is rocked when eighteen year old Courtney Walsh goes missing just days before she's supposed to head off to college.
The police investigate but it isn't long before the case turns cold.
Fast forward ten years and nine bodies are found in what was once a heavily wooded area, one of them is Courtney.
Dani Walsh, Courtney's younger sister, is a sheriffs deputy who is forced off her sisters case. Soon she begins to see that someone she works with is hiding something. Along with the few people she can trust and a new ally she begins to uncover what truly happened to her sister.
She vows to never stop looking for answers, becoming obsessed with getting justice for Courtney.
