Nightmare is the feared guardian of negativity, he spreads negativity, and destroy where ever he goes.
But in reality Nightmare is just misunderstood and had been treated poorly. He's tired of the life his lived and how others treat him.
But he's got his family, they make it all worth it. He wouldn't change that for the world.
However the star Sanses have to come and ruin it.

Dust's fiance is Blueberry Cross's husband(/wife) is Dream Nightmares boyfriend is Killer Horrors boyfriend is Lust Errors husband(/wife) is Ink Samuel, Scrooge, and Dark are Nightmare and Killers kids Lurro, Tacky, Desire, and Luxath are Horror and Lusts kids Nightmare, killer, Lust, Horror and the kids all live in Nightmares mansion in Dreamtale. Dust and Cross used to live here until they moved in with their boyfriends. Error live here for less than a week befor he decided that he preferred to do his evil business alone. Now all the bad Sans's(including error) are retired and living the rest of their lives with the ones they love.... That doesn't mean that they're nice or good or non murderous. It just means they're not looking for trouble any more. It tends to come to them. But boardom is their worst enemy now. Nightmare likes to stay in his non corrupt form, it attracts too much attention for obvious reasons.Complete

TWs!!! because I can't seem to tag them for some reason! abuse, mental health issues, torture, mental break downs, manipulation, all that fun stuff. This is NOT a lighthearted story! Nightmare had been alone in his head for the longest time. For 500 years he was able to gain more power, a castle, a gang, and a reputation of one of the most dangerous beings in the multiverse. But when Dream had broken out of stone, someone else made themselves known, someone who should have been dead. OR Corrupted Nightmare is a parasite and Passive Nightmare refuses to die. He rarely falters when making a decision, never sugarcoats the facts of the situation and he most definitely doesn't let his emotions take control of him. Given those facts, there must be a logical reason as to why he's avoiding anything to do with Error, right? Sure, Error isn't the nicest to be around, but Nightmare of all people has never shown any hint of dislike towards him; if anything, it's the opposite.
