Let's go back to the timeline where Rimuru never became a demon lord but an awakened demon lord only
After Rimuru sends Chronoa in the past as a time spirit while the war between the East and the West is currently happening
Rimuru was about to die from using too much magicules after he managed to send Chronoa to the past which will cost his life and since he already used all of his magicules from trying to calm the rampaging Chronoa.
But before death comes to him, all the sudden he found himself in a place where the time doesn't moves on which prevents him from dying, a place outside from the Cardinal world.
There he watched Chloe's time travel adventures through a pixilated screen and decided to help her from behind the scenes with the help of his trusted partner
This story is inspired by Aftertale, an Undertale AU (my favourite) made by CrayonQueen/Loveofpiggies

Jewel of Tempest
Rimuru was taking a break after the entire orc invasion incident and decided to take a stroll through the forest. While walking along he runs into a monster that was run out of their home by the orcs and lost their entire family to the attack. With nowhere to call home and no family to go back to, Rimuru accepts the monster into the new and growing town as his adopted daughter. The story will follow the main story beats of the light novel, but events will be changed due to a close bond forming between Rimuru and the new monster. The bond will be explored along with the world around the two of them, giving more depth to the characters and allowing them to move outside of the main story's narrative. This is my first time writing something like this so I apologies if there are any glaring issues you may notice. With that said if you see something that could use improving, I invite you to drop a comment and let me know about it so the story can be improved for everyone. The Mature rating is mostly just to cover my bases as I don't know where things will go as the story progresses. I of course don't own "That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime' so please check out the original work by Fuse.

Tensura: Melting the Eternal Frost - Book 1
This story depicts an alternate timeline wherein Velzard attends Walpurgis after sensing Veldora's presence. She subsequently meets our protagonist and becomes interested in him after his display at the meeting. After thinking for a bit, she decides to move to Tempest and becomes a close ally of Rimuru. Rimuru and Velzard will sometimes be out of character since it's unavoidable. Our protagonist will be more rational and have an actual spine, while Velzard will not be as cold and ruthless as her canon counterpart. Besides, Velzard lacks substantial characterization, so I decided to write my own interpretation of her personality based on the original light novel. I recommend at least having seen the second season of the anime since my story will pick up from there. This fanfic will follow the main story beats of the original light novel, so some arcs will be glossed over with minor changes. I'm somewhat OC, so expect a lot of chapter edits or updates, as I tend to reread chapters and catch minor mistakes here and there. (Note that this is Book 1 for the full story.)
