Greywood School for Troubled Youngsters. The school her mom went to. The school her grandmother went to. Look how that ended for them. 
Elvira comes from a long line of criminals, all women. She has had the bad luck of being sent to the same school as her mother. The most famous, and wanted criminal, who died at a party three years ago. Elvira doesn't want to go. She's not troubled. She's only going because no other school wants her. She's lucky though; her best friend, Leo is going too. he's not troubled either, he just has a hard past. Struggles. The two go in expecting the worst. The worst is yet to come. Within a week of their arrival, a student is found dead, hanging up on the gates of the school. That's when the letters start. First, Elvira thinks it's a joke. Then they start predicting the murders. 
the anonymous sender threatens to expose a large secret of Elvira's if she tells anyone, yet how does she explain all she knows about the killings?
