Haunted by the events of his past, Shawn Williams is living while coping with depression, an illness that he, his friends, and his family fails to accept he has as an African American male. He tries to find his adult identity and overcome his issues and family's belittlement on his own until he hits rock bottom. However, someone special in his life helps him through to try and reach happiness. But, that someone has been keeping a secret ... something that would affect Shawn's life forever.
