A couple departs from earth with their two children to live on Pandora. They are Isaiah and Kailani Reed. Their first born, Haukea, marries on of the men on base, Alan. But after they go missing, their second born abandons her prior mission and searches for her older sister.

That girl goes by two names. The name her parents gave her, Mele Reed. And the name the Na'vi gave her, Sanuitì te Way'ti Ka'ilani'ite. She lives a double life up until her sister's mysterious disappearance.
