A story about a cocky girl, with a timid boy.

What happens when Tom Amundsen meets a very, and he means very, confident girl before he heads off to his new boarding school? What happens when Giulia Sabato meets a very shy and awfully quiet boy that never speaks, but rather listens to her while she talks about her very own boring boarding school. Will Tom be able to get this girl out of his head so he can focus on the "real things" that he needs to be focusing on in school? Will Giulia push thoughts about Tom out of her head since she doesn't want to embarrass herself even more thinking about what comes next? (Especially with a guy that's not interested in her one bit, right?) Will they find their way back to each other, or was this a one time thing?

Her name was Gabriella Quintanilla. She was a senior in high school during this time. She had the looks, all the boys, the popularity, the clothes, and even the grades.
