It's May of 2022 so I decided to take part in Marichat May which I write short-stories for the ship Marichat (Marinette X Chat Noir).  This is my first time doing something like this so I hope you all enjoy!

Chat Noir loves LadyBug. Marinette is in love Adrien. This is how life is. Until that day after battle. LadyBug used her Lucky Charm out of combat and found out that what she really wanted in that moment, was to kiss Chat Noir. Chat couldn't be happier, but Marinette is questioning her love for Adrien. Adrien accidentally finds out who LadyBug is and can't stop thinking about Marinette. It was never about LadyBug, he'd always loved Marinette. But he has a lot of competition; Luka, Nathanael, and even his superhero alter ego. After a wonderful evening together, Marinette and Adrien think everything will turn it fine, but Luka has other plans. There will be a prom, do you think things will go right or wrong for our favorite ship? How do you think this will turn out? Read and find out! I'm sorry if it's a little cringy!!! I wrote this when I was like 13, it's my first fan fic so don't judge lol Also, I throw shade at some characters but I do not dislike them! It if for the sake of the story that I needed to make some characters (Luka included) a little mean!

He stopped. He couldn't bear to continue. Those words... they- they scared him. He knew exactly why they struck fear into him though: they were true. But he couldn't let go; not now. Not when he was this close. Not when he finally had her. Not when they were finally together. Not when she finally loved him- He started to feel a burning sensation in the back of his throat; trying to calm himself down he started combing his shaking fingers through his hair rapidly, like a mad man. Until it became too much and he let out a choked sob. The tears burned his face and his throat felt like it was on fire. Adrien couldn't stop the pain- the amount of anger- the amount of- trust and love. This girl was all he needed, she was his oxygen, his whole world, he loved her wasn't that enough!? He needed her in his life, but she wasn't- All of his thoughts came to a stop as Marinette, the love of his life, placed a delicate hand over his shoulder and gave it a comforting squeeze. Ladybug could tell he was scared, scared they might not be able to find her, but she couldn't tell him the truth, she just couldn't. She had to keep it a secret, no matter how wrong it felt. And if Cat noir knew the truth about this, he would only feel sorry for his dear lady, and she didn't want that. She looked down from him to avoid eye contact, knowing she couldn't explain, and she didn't want him to see the tears filling up in her eyes. _____________________________________________________ Appropriate for all ages! There may be slight violence, and a few kissing scenes, but nothing else.
