While navigating his way through high school, college, and beyond, Peter found enjoyment through it. Not necessarily through school but through James a tall, handsome, Romanian student. Someone Peter was ever so lucky to call his high school sweetheart.

They spent every waking moment together, moving through the up's and downs life had to throw at them. Every time they were able to make it through it, until one day the world or something similar came crashing down on Peter. Falling apart right in front of his eyes, every sense of stability he knows slipped through his fingers like sand.

Peter tried to accept his fate, if that's what life wanted for him then so be it. All he wished was that he could tell James one last goodbye, have one more moment in his lovers arms. Just one more minute would've been enough.

But life is life and sometimes you have to face the bad before you can see the true good before you can have that happy ending.
