Things that were once thought to be myths turn out to be real, people show their true colors, and family shows their true motives. The only thing keeping these two sane in a vastly changing world is their friendship, their only tether to reality. Staring death in the eyes is something these two seem to be good at, and they find themselves facing it around every corner. A new power is awakening, and Phoenix and Kai are right in the middle of it.
