Just a year after having survived his Hunger Game, Cayce Orisse discovers time is nothing but a vicious cycle. He must cope with his own past demons and to mentor two new children through the Game. Being only fourteen, he feels young and wonders if he will fit in amongst the older mentors.
The new District Six tributes are older and they lack respect and trust for him as a victor. He depends heavily on his own mentor, but will either survive to produce a new victor? Will the mentors accept a new and much younger mentor?
