Kozume Kenma has recently uprooted to the Nerima Ward in Tokyo. School isn't easy, he can't seem to concentrate or shake off the attention of some easily angered upper classmen. The captain of the volleyball team, Kuroo Tetsurō, takes him under his wing. Kuroo is determined to make Kenma fall in love with both Tokyo and volleyball.
