Avery Jones knew she was going to get floated. She was sent to the Sky Box until she turned 18. Why you may be wondering? Well, you'll find out. She lives in space. On a big space city or whatever you want to call it, the Ark. Why?
Well, it's been ninety-seven years since a nuclear apocalypse killed everyone on Earth, leaving the planet simmering in radiation. Fortunately, there were survivors. Twelve nations had operational space stations at the time of the bombs. There is now only the Ark, one station forged from the many. We're told the Earth needs another hundred years to become survivable again. Four more space-locked generations, and man can go home, back to the ground. The ground, that's the dream. This is reality. The reality that keeps them alive. The reality that soon changes. The Ark is sending 100 prisoners to the Earth to see if the Earth is survivable.

Adventures from Space to Earth
Ash lives on the Ark, but not as a citizen, as a prisoner. At the age of eleven, her parents were floated, leading to Ash assaulting a guard winning her a one way trip to the Skybox. After almost eight years, the Chancellor decides to send the prisoners to the ground since life support is failing.
