On a planet called Etheria, two forces battle for control. The Horde with its expertly trained soldiers, advanced tech and one goal: to conquer all of Etheria in the name of their lord, Hordak. The other force, the Rebellion, is made up of princesses and their followers fighting to maintain harmony and freedom for all of Etheria's people.
At least, this is what they preach. There is a third force hidden among the citizens of Etheria, they're known as the Secret Defenders. Led by the elite mercenary Vixen aka Amor Cordis, Guardian of Souls and Partner of She-Ra, they defend Etheria from the shadows.
But not many know the secret hidden beneath Vixen's mask; that Loverna Cordis, childhood friend of Catra and Adora, is alive.

She decides to disband the Horde, starting with the cadets. While doing so, she receives a message from Horde Prime which only assures her she's making the right choice. This leads to a full redemption arc where Queen Angella is saved, Despara appears, the Horde joins the Rebellion, and Catra has her own space adventure.
