Kern, better known as the "false god." Is pushed into a corner, finding himself hunted down by fellow gods under the guise of justice. With no path forward he retreats to a lower, mortal realm. With his unique mastery over souls, he possesses the prenatal fetus of a mortal woman. But not even kern could predict how things would develop.
If he is to exact revenge, he must cultivate the power to go against the council of gods. But an old dog is able to learn new tricks, rediscovering its humanity along the way. Maybe the mortal world isn't all too bad. Or maybe Kern slaughters the small realm in its entirety?
This is my first time taking a crack at seriously writing and posting it. This is a story I've been writing without ever the intention of showing it to others.
It has and is going through a ton of changes, it is a work in progress. Go in with that level of expectation hahaha!
