Lyle Carraci was the second son of the Alpha in the De La Sangre [Of The Blood] pack, a highly controlled lethal group of werewolves who all value strength and power in lineage, so the pack interbreeds and only allow other strong blood races to breed with their members, when Christian Merlotte a rogue was captured as he was facing death at the age of three, the Luna of the pack sympathized and took him in with the Alphas blessing.

Lyle and Christian were raised as brothers and best friends.

As the years go by they both start to have strange thoughts about each other, as their feelings develop they let loose and something threatens to have Christian killed and Lyle to lose the love of his life, they keep this life-threatening secret fearing if anyone found out they will be ripped apart.
