37 parts Complete MatureI should stay away from you," he continued, his voice dropping even lower, almost a whisper.
I gasped, feeling the hardness of him against my back, a reminder of just how little control he had in this moment.
"And yet, here you are," he growled, his lips brushing against the side of my neck. "The daughter of Eiden Kaelis, making me lose control like a damn teenager."
My heart was pounding, my pulse racing in my ears. His proximity was overwhelming, his presence consuming every ounce of air in the room. I hated how my body reacted to him, how his words left me trembling and speechless. He was fire and danger, and yet I couldn't bring myself to pull away.
I barely had time to process his words before Caius's hands moved with a rough determination. My breath hitched as his fingers gripped the fabric of my off-shoulder top. With one brutal pull, the delicate material tore apart, the sound loud and jarring in the stillness of the room.
That bastard, 'I thought, biting the inside of my cheek to keep the words from spilling out. That was my favorite top. But i didn't dare say it aloud. I couldn't. The fire in his eyes, the tension radiating off him-it left me mute, frozen under his touch.
Before I could react, he ripped my skirt too, the cool air brushing against my skin making me feel far too exposed. My heart raced, a mix of indignation and something I didn't want to name swirling inside me. My thoughts were interrupted as his fingers pinched between my legs, drawing a gasp from my lips.
"Get on the bed", he commanded, his voice dark and unyielding. "Bend over and hold the headboard."
His tone left no room for argument, and yet, a small part of me burned with rebellion. My mind screamed at me to fight back, to say something, anything But my body-my traitorous body- seemed to obey him before I could think, my legs moving on their own as I climbed onto the bed.
