A murder mystery partly inspired by Batman and the Riddler
Taking place in modern New York, Bruce Wayne is a hardworking detective with a past only hinted at, a stressed present, and a troubled future ahead of him. Living in his little apartment building alone to focus on a case, Detective Wayne is stressed and confused. A series of murders, by a clever serial killer, is leaving Wayne pulling his hair diving deep into his past only to find loose connections and even more questions. Bruce has to explore every possible angle in this thrilling mystery to uncover this killer and solve the unanswered questions to finally make terms with his troubled past, open his eyes and look at the world and himself in a new way.

A Modern Joke
As an aspiring writer, it's difficult not to look at stories you love and wonder 'What if?' I have notice how the Joker's origin in The Killing Joke and the Joker movie (2019) both stories take place during the 1980s. But what if it took place today? That's what I try to answer! In this original work I explore how a complex character like the Joker could emerge and be influence by current social problems. It's a romantic, and specially mysterious short story that I wish one day could help me make it to DC as a comic book writer, and if I don't, at least I enjoyed writing it, and I hope you enjoy reading it!
