This book will probably mess with your mind. Luna and Diana find each other at a café in London. They soon grow to be friends and as they get to know each other more, the term "friends" was not all they wanted with each other.
Before you read this book I would like to warn you about some trigger warning that might appear.
TW: suicide, mentions of past trauma, homophobia, anxiety, depression, mental issues.
You can imagine the girls however you want, yet I will try and describe them the way I see them.
Diana Amery, 23, long straight dirty blonde hair with dark roots, 5'10, big brown eyes, unsuccessful writer
Luna Barrett, 20, long straight dirty blonde hair, 5'7, lighter green eyes, waitress at linda's cafe
"Would you like anything else to eat or drink, or a bill?" I tried to sound as polite as possible. I didn't want her to think I wanted her to leave the cafe, because I didn't. I liked watching her write. I wonder what she wrote on that computer all day long.
"What's your name?" She looked up at me, her expression being quite serious. I didn't quite understand why she was asking me this, but I almost immediately answered her.
"Luna." I smiled softly, kind of forming my lips into a line, but it was more of a smile. I really wanted her to say her name, but I was scared to ask.
"That's beautiful. My name is Diana." She smiled back, with teeth. She made a kind of shy face after, it looked like she wanted to ask me something but she wasn't sure if she should. "Could you by any chance go on break?" She suddenly spoke, making me blush a little.
"Wha- right now?" I tilted my head to the side just slightly, frowning my eyebrows a little bit.
"Yes." She smiled, her voice sounded more confident now.
