In a world where bloodlines determine power and loyalty binds kingdoms, Karma Azaroth has always known his place in the royal family. As the second son of the ruling king and queen, he's spent his life shadowed by the expectations of his older brother-the heir to the throne. But when an unexpected alliance with the angel elves demands Karma's attention, his world is turned upside down. Maelis Vermillion, a fierce and captivating princess from a distant kingdom, is the key to solidifying the pact that could change the course of history. Bound by a promise to unite their realms, Maelis is everything Karma never expected: beautiful, intelligent, and deadly. Her presence stirs a fire within him he cannot control, though their union is forged in duty, not desire. As the two navigate the delicate web of royal politics, their forced engagement threatens to fracture as their hearts are torn between love and loyalty, duty and passion. With enemies lurking in the shadows, not all is as it seems, and when trust is shattered, a deadly game of power and betrayal begins. Karma must decide: Will he honor his family's vow and protect the future of the kingdom? Or will he risk it all for the woman who has come to mean more to him than the throne itself? In a world where crowns are worn with a price, their vow may not be enough to shield them from the darkness closing in. Passion. Power. Betrayal.
