The year passed by quickly and now it's 2023. I stare up at the glowing ball, then looked around at all the people who had a cheerful glint in their eyes. The confetti fell delicately across my face, and I smiled gently as the cold air nipped at my nose. Soon, though, it happened to get awkward around all these families and couples. 'I think it's time to leave now then," I think to my self as I took one last glance at the people around me, hopefully seeking a desired someone. No luck.
