The year passed by quickly and now it's 2023. I stare up at the glowing ball, then looked around at all the people who had a cheerful glint in their eyes. The confetti fell delicately across my face, and I smiled gently as the cold air nipped at my nose. Soon, though, it happened to get awkward around all these families and couples. Of course, she's like a sister to him (cliche cliche cliche) but, alas, he falls for her...but not before she seems to be falling for the boy she's known since she was a child. Love triangles, disastrous proms, insane step brothers, and a high school class system bent on maintaining the status quo and you've got yourself a teenage love story. **This story was written almost six years ago, when cliche romance novels and vampires made the world swoon.
