April and The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

April O'Neil is your normal smiling news reporter on channel 6, but so much has happened to the girl behind that smile. She lost both her parents at a young age due to a gas leak in her apartment complex, but that's not true. April knows that her parents where targets of mysterious men dressed in all black, but she didn't understand why exactly, unless they where after her parents work. both of them where scientist at TGRI and they had found something groundbreaking they asked her to hide, but she failed and lost it down a sewer drain along with four baby turtles the night of the explosion.
April is still looking for answers on who those men where, what exactly was in that canister, and why where the men after it. But April's world is turned a little upside down when she comes across four turtles she thought she lost, only not the same anymore...
