This happens after Trollhunters : Rise of the titans but instead of Jim going back to the past to fix everything, nobody dies but the bad guys so Jim wouldn't have to go back to the past to fix things. Also Trollmarket has be restored so all of the trolls moved back to Arcadia and Barbara,(aka Jim's mom) broke up with Strickler but he still comes around to Jim's house time to time. Also all the characters that have died, (like Merlin) are back alive. Jim also still has Excalibur and the new Trollhunter amulet with him and nobody knows that Jim is a amazing singer and that he is a hybrid between a human and a troll until later on in this book.(p.s.-his troll form looks exactly like his troll form from the t.v show if you seen it and he is a wizard but just doesn't know it yet.). Also there are going to be new bad guys in this book called "The Redemption order" but the Trollhunters don't know about them yet but they will later on in this book but only if you keep reading you well know what will happened and if our heroes can defeat them! But before they found out about them they just continue on with their lives and it has been 6 months after the Titans attack Arcadia,and since then Douxie had a crush on Jim but he didn't interfere with Jim's and Claire's Relationship and just keep his feelings to himself which was hard because Douxie was living with Jim and his mom Barbara in the spare bedroom until one day this happen. Their paths cross again seven years later, at the age of 24, 25 for Saint because he has already turned 25, with both of them working as bodyguards. Shin is assigned to protect an influential political figure, and the reason why he chose this path is actually to find out what really happened to his mother, involved in the explosion of a shopping mall, which also caused the death of other people. He doesn't believe that it was an accident. While Saint works as a bodyguard for a famous actor who actually has a double life and is investigating the incident at the mall. Saint and Shin, without realizing it, will find themselves fighting with the same goal: to find out what really happened that day at the mall. And who knows, between one thing and another, maybe that feeling that completely distances itself from the word friendship will explode between them...
