All his life, Sherlock's been told that humans are dangerous. Humans will hurt you. Humans will kill you - or worse, put you on display. His older brother Mycroft has strictly forbidden him from getting close to any of them - but that doesn't stop him from daydreaming.

When he runs away from home, he finds a special cove, and a boy with eyes the cool color of a stormy sea. At first, both Sherlock and the human boy - John - are wary of each other, but soon their friendship grows close and tight.

John makes Sherlock feel special; Sherlock makes John feel wanted. But with so many forces pulling them apart, will they ever be together??
