My fingers curled into his shirt, pulling him closer before I even knew what I was doing. It wasn't soft. It wasn't sweet. It was teeth and breath and bruised lips. When he finally pulled away, his breath ragged against my cheek, I couldn't even look at him. Because the worst part? I wanted him to do it again. ----- Violet was never supposed to enter their world, let alone survive it. Claimed by a cursed hybrid alpha and trained to break the spell that binds him and his people, she becomes something far more dangerous: desired. As power awakens inside her and enemies close in, one thing becomes terrifyingly clear, he was never going to let her go.
