"I was on my way home from school, and I saw a puppy chained to a fence. I asked the bus driver to stop and he did. I got out there and ran to the puppy. She was skin and bones, one eye was bloody and she could barely move. It broke my heart. So i untied her and just as I was about to walk home with her, he attacked me from behind. He covered my mouth so I couldn't scream. I remember screaming in my head though. But I was more scared for the puppy than I was for myself. Anyway, he pulled me into the grass like area by the bridge. The puppy ran off, I'm not really sure where but that's when I realized what was happening to me. I later realized the puppy went to get help. She came back with a security guard from a few blocks away. If it wasn't for the puppy, Sophia and I would be dead.."
It all started with a puppy, a good decision to save it led to a terrible disaster. Sixteen year old Madisyn Summers has a daughter, Sophia, with the man that raped her.
