Living in the aftermath of a vampiric invasion is not easy, especially if you are human. But if you are human, and you find out you posses some sort of magical powers, it's even worse. Even more so if the vampires find out, and rest assured, they will. 

Emily Carthwright has been on the move most of her seventeen years. After being yanked away from the life she's always known, she must now try and survive, as she discovers who she really is and what her real purpose in life is, in a world where all seems lost to humans.
