Carmen became an international crime lord after her father passed away. She's been successfully pulling all of the strings on her own, making all the calls. She's been okay being alone, never needing anyone to love her.

Until she meets Sage, she thinks of her as a work partner, but that quickly changes. New feelings start to come along that she has no control over. It drives her crazy that Sage wants nothing to do with her, but can you blame her? Everything she's been put through, the "love" won't come so easily.
