The Reign of the Hourglass
The Hourglass changes us all. Unleashes the monster in us. What can we do when the monster in us is unleashed upon America? Peter Unum, a cynical and neurotic high schooler, lives a normal and somewhat healthy life. His older brother has his own rock band, his younger sister is a complete overbearing bookworm, and his crush is as dumb as a rock. So, life is pretty normal for him. Until the werewolves are unleashed upon the America. Every two months, the Lycanthrope Corporation, America's new Government, selects a large group of people to be taken away and turned into werewolves and at night unleashes them to feast on the flesh of anyone they come into contact with, an event that has become known as The Hourglass. When Peter and his friends find themselves trapped outside in their neighborhood, they must fight to survive against the flesh eating wolves or die trying.

In a not-so distant future American society, life seems perfect. Unemployment rates have reached 1% and crime rates have hit an all-time low. Ironically because once a year, all crime is legal for 12 hours. Many participate, while others try and hide. James Tate used to be the one to hide and protect himself. But one Purge Night changed all that. Now it's that night of the year again, and James has a goal in mind. The only question he asks himself is if he can accomplish this goal while surviving the night. The Purge is trademarked by Universal Studios. This story is a fan-written novel based on the premise of the motion picture. WARNING: CONTAINS STRONG LANGUAGE AND ACTIONS. TPP: The Purge Philippines
One of those The Purge fanfiction I made for my friends. :) Year 2026. Philippines has suffered great from “The Fall”. The economy went downhill. Crimes are at high rates and ¼ of the population of the country has been wiped out due to poverty. The government fell. No one governs the country. Year 2027. The Datu, Founding Fathers of “New Philippines”, proposed a solution. Any burden on the country shall be alleviated at all costs, and that's where the Purge came into existence. The Purge is an annual event that allows any crime for 12 hours in the country. Services such as Hospitals, Firemen, Police and the Government will be unavailable during the said hours. Logic behind the event? It allows people to release a year's burden, hatred, by unleashing the beast on other people. Anyone who can't afford protection isn't guaranteed to survive the night. With this, The New Philippines grew. The crime rates are at from Minimal to Almost None. The economy grew and the New Philippines flustered with the hopes of never experiencing The Fall again.Lengkap
