A year after the events of Infinity War, Loki returns to New Asgard to reunite with his brother. Thor's celebration to welcome him home is crashed by an uninvited guest: a jotunn girl claiming to be Loki's sister. A threat is forcing Asgard and Jotunheim to fight together, but first Loki must face his Jotunn heritage.

She clings to him and he wraps his arms around her, and in perfect silence they embrace. "Will you tell me about the dream?" He eventually asks. He strokes her straight, snow-white hair and gazes into her delicate eyes, those too, white in colour. "You are sad. Will you tell me what you saw in that dream?" he does his best to coax it out of her whilst remaining soft and patient. She has had too many nightmares recently, just like her father. She sniffs, and whispers, "In a minute." After King Loki's wife was murdered three days after giving birth to their daughter, Loki must face the challenges of raising a daughter whilst dealing with his own grief.
