After five years since her failed gift ceremony and being treated like an outcast within her own family, Mirabel Madrigal keeps holding onto hope until one day, harsh words were said that shattered her hopes of acceptance. So after running away from Casita and into the jungle, little did she know that she would be found by Yondu Udonta and the Ravagers while searching Earth for Peter Quill. After a moment of realization, Yondu made the decision to take her in and she accepted, leaving Encanto and Earth for adventures across the galaxy.  And Star Queen would soon become one of its great heroes.
