PREMISE
Just living through each day as though it were a fleeting page in one of her books, twenty four year old Rose Johnson accepts her simple, mundane life living with her father in their small but homey apartment complex while balancing working part time at the local cafe and studying to become a midwife.

Lightyears away, the Phúlax, an ancient race of nomad warriors, have protected the galaxy and its inhabitants for generations from their hidden enemies, the Ruinae, and their unknown agenda.

Christian Phúlax, son of famous Commander Xavier Phúlax, and newly appointed Captain of the Royal Guard, is charged with investigating the alarming rise in cases of planets being infected by the mysterious 'mutagen- X'. His investigation, however, takes a sudden turn when he and his team follow a lead to the most unexpected and unexceptional planet - earth.

Through a chance encounter, Christian and Rose are forced to put their differences aside and band together to investigate mutagen-X cases in the hopes of finding the cause - and the cure - before it's too late.
