Lucy, Juliet, and Gabe aren't your typical teens. 

They are the kids not allowed to attend the party the whole rest of the school was invited to. They are the ones in the back, keeping to themselves; if someone was to ask anyone about them, they probably wouldn't even know they existed in the first place. Either that, or they remember them as that guy everyone calls 'fag' in the hallway, and the two girls everyone suspects are lesbian lovers, one of them a goth and the other a punk who tried to kill herself earlier in the year.

They don't have any friends, except for one another. A group of dysfunctional, emotionally unstable teens, surviving school, society, and their own minds...

...but they wouldn't have it any other way.

She wants to get away from all the judgmental eyes and she's knows the perfect way. Suicide. She'll never commit it and leave him to defend for himself even though he says he'll be fine. But once she gets pushed over the edge, she goes as far as faking her suicide, with the help of her best friend. Jess and Ronnie have finally escaped judgmental Ohio and eloped to Rhode Island.
