Paige's Story: "Before me" (PT.1)

PART #1
This is a story of a 20 year old, African-American girl named Paige. Paige was put into foster care after going through a troubling childhood of sexual abuse, and exploitation by her mother's pimp. As the story develops through a sequence of events, Paige will later-begin to see the psychological effects and how her current choices have been affected by her past traumas & "invisible" generational curses.

It's only when she becomes adopted into a new family that she starts to feel out of place, & will begin to realize how much more different than them she really is. This spark in curiosity will lead Paige into discovering who she really is, where she comes from, & valuable lessons will then have a positive affect on her. Over time, readers will watch the evolution of a girl who turned her pain into purpose.

Part 1- of the book will cover Paige biological mother upbringing and display how her mom's upbringing affected her. Diving deep into the life of Paige's mother will help uncover some unanswered questions that will need answers later on as you read....What will happen to Paige's mother?

Part 2- of the book will cover mainly Paige's life & experience growing up and having to work through the hand that life had dealt her. Paige had to adapt and grow with her new family... until she began to run into some uncomfortable and challenging issues within herself & her adopted family- that she never seen coming...read until the end to see what issues Paige will face and how she will overcome them.

Part 3- of the book will be the final book of the series. This portion will be filled with much wisdom. It will be more so of Paige reflecting on the past, the things she learned, and the lessons of life that stuck with her. Through this she will share and express things that will be helpful to other little black girls out there like her.
