    Sixteen-year-old Draco Malfoy has been a student at Holloway Grammar School for Boys since he was eleven, and has known his two best friends, Blaise Zabini and Pansy Parkinson, even longer. Harry Potter, on the other hand, is new to Holloway, having recently moved in with foster parents Vernon and Petunia and their spoilt son Dudley after his parents passed away in a car crash. He quickly befriends out and proud gay boy Seamus Finnigan, not fully out but still mostly proud bisexual Dean Thomas, transgender lesbian and unapologetically herself Hermione Granger, anxious and cynical pessimist Ron Weasley, and timid but fiercely loyal and kind Neville Longbottom.
    
    The boys first cross paths in PE, which results in a misinterpretation and an overly defensive Draco. They eventually reach an understanding at a Halloween party hosted by Seamus. Without really meaning to, they grow closer until one night Harry kisses Draco...only to be discovered by Lucius, Draco's cruel divorce lawyer father, and the two are forced apart. Meanwhile, childhood friends Hermione and Pansy reconcile their friendship, which begins to blossom into something more. Navigating friendships, family, school, and a bigoted community may prove to be difficult for who may as well be residents of the Island of Misfit Toys, but with each other by their sides, they can overcome any challenges that come hurtling their way.
