Detroit: Become Human
In 2040, androids are recognized as citizens in the United States. They have basic rights, but specific legislature is still in the process of being passed. Living next door to Hank, Sumo, and now Connor, didn't really bother you since you're typically awake pretty late anyway. You were pretty pro-bot from the beginning; the struggle of the deviants reminded you an awful lot of US History class, and you'd seen how quickly androids could pick up on the world around them. You were like them in that way-- you could almost see right through the surface of the world, uncovering secrets in surroundings like crystals in caves. They saw what you saw: moments of joy and saccharine memories to be made, between chasms of injustice and imbalance. Before Connor started living with Hank, Sumo would bark at things (i.e., anything and everything) during the day while he was alone. It stopped bothering you a while ago; it was how you knew he was alright. Hank left you alone, except for the occasional drunken knocking on the door until he realized it wasn't his house. Connor, on the other hand, knocked politely in the afternoons to ask if you could possibly watch Sumo while he went to work at the police station. It was hard to turn him down, and it was impossible to turn down Sumo. Recently, you'd noticed a new (well, not exactly new) beat-up sedan on the curb between Hank's house and yours. If Hank was having parties or something, you definitely wanted in, but you were mostly just a bit nosey. Might do you some good to socialize.

*Follows the storyline of Detroit: Become Human* You've been working at Detroit City Police Department for a few years, being in the police force had been you're dream job since you were a child. Currently, you investigated human crimes. Recently, you've been given the task of investigating cases involving deviant androids. The sudden change from investigating humans to androids is going to be tough to get used to, but you knew you could handle it. They also decided to partner you up with Hank Anderson, which surprised you considering he hated androids. You had nothing against androids, unlike you're partner, Hank. You had no reason to hate them, they had never done anything to wrong you. Most of them are actually quite nice, not counting the deviants. Hank had always been like a father to you, and like any other human he would easily get upset and angered, sometimes even lashing out on you. You knew that he never meant any of the harsh words, so you stuck by his side. When you were both assigned to the same investigation, you had both decided to go to the bar to celebrate. Everything seemed fine, until an android walked into the bar. Everyone watched as he approached us. "Lieutenant Anderson, Detective (l/n), my name is Connor. I'm the android sent by CyberLife."
