The Hunt will take place over the next two years of your life. You will be given a List containing things and experiences you must acquire within this time span. At the end of the two years, you will bring all the things and stories you have gained back to this house where we will be expecting you. To prove you experienced the things you say, you will bring back an item from that occurrence.
The purpose of the Hunt is to prevent ignorance in any region of feeling. To be a true community, we must all have a way of feeling empathy for another and their struggles. Therefore, the tasks on the List will cause you to feel almost every possible emotion at one time or another as well as gaining life experience. In the past thirty years since we began the tradition of the Hunt, it has proven a successful way of inspiring creative thinking and has stimulated large amounts of philanthropy within society. It also allows us to make sure everyone in society has the right amount of mental stability which has decreased crime and suicide rates.
If the Hunter should fail to complete the List and/or follow these Rules, then they shall be sequestered from society in a special institution for the remainder of their life.”
